Ana is a junior in the Huntsman Program of International Studies and Business, a dual-degree program between the College of Arts and Sciences and the Wharton School, targeting French. She's originally from Belgrade, Serbia but was raised in New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates before moving to Philadelphia. She is a total foodie, as well as total health and fitness nut and can be found either at the gym, with a yoga mat or sipping tea. She can't wait to come back to India in November after being Chief of Staff last year. She is academically fascinated in behavioral economics, international relations and sociology. Ana was involved with MUN throughout high school, and she attended conferences on multiple continents as both a chair and delegate. She is so excited to be your Secretary General for ILMUNC India 2016 and to get to meet all of you!
Jialin is currently a senior in the Life Sciences and Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Biology and Finance. She was born in Beijing, China, but has lived in Lexington, Kentucky and Miami, Florida for most of her life. On campus, she is involved in organizations such as her sorority, Sigma Psi Zeta, in addition to the International Affairs Association. She enjoys running, reading, and cooking in her free time. Jialin has been involved in Model UN since high school and believes that her involvement in the IAA at Penn has shaped her four years here a great deal. She has served on secretariat of UPMUNC, Penn's college conference, for the past three years, and is looking forward to serving as chair for UPMUNC and moderator for ILMUNC in this coming year. She's very excited to serve as ILMUNC India's Director-General for 2016 and looks forward to meeting you all very soon!
Taylor is a senior at Penn, majoring in Political Science and Diplomatic History, and cannot wait to meet you all at conference this year! This will be her second time at ILMUNC India, and she will be serving as Chief of Staff for the upcoming conference. She hopes she gets the opportunity to see some familiar faces! She grew up in Manhattan Beach, California, and now has to brave the cold weather for a college experience in Philadelphia. She loves traveling, exploring, and trying new foods so she is so looking forward to being able to return to one of the most unique places she has ever been and get to know India a little better. She can't wait to interact with delegates to make sure everyone has an incredible time throughout the weekend, both in and out of the committee room. Taylor has been involved with Model UN since high school and served as the Secretary-General of UPMUNC, Penn's collegiate conference, in addition to being a delegate and chair at many conferences. In the time leading up to ILMUNC India, if you have any questions, need any help, or want to reach out to say hi, please do! She can't wait until November!
Alex is a senior in the Jerome Fisher Program for Management and Technology, studying Computer Science in the School of Engineering and Applied Science and Entrepreneurship in the Wharton School. Born and raised thirty minutes outside of Washington, D.C., Alex has seen his fair share of Washington monuments and cherry blossoms. He could not be more excited to be serving as your Chief Operating Officer for ILMUNC India this year. When he's not building website pages (like this one), you can find him playing soccer, watching Game of Thrones, or eating ~lots~ of food. Alex is super excited to meet you all at conference and ready to make ILMUNC India 2016 absolutely, hands-down, without a doubt, insanely incredible!
Andre Na is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Urban Studies and minoring in Political Science. In the International Affairs Association, Andre has served as Deputy Director of Special Events and has also worked closely with the ILMUNC China team as well. Andre has been involved with Model UN since high school and is excited that it is still a big part of his life in college because it has provided him with so many friends and opportunities. When Andre isn't planning events for the International Affairs Association or hanging out with the amazing secretariat for ILMUNC India, you can find him on campus with other people involved in student government, working at Penn's Admissions Office, or planning the next TEDx Conference. Andre loves speaking to people and encourages you to email him if you have any questions or concerns. This will be Andre's first time in India and he is beyond excited to meet all of the delegates. Above all, he is most excited to help run what will be the best ILMUNC India yet!
